You can get many government services in the UAE through smart phones such as Blackberry, iPhone, Android and other similar devices. The applications (Apps) developed by many federal and local government entities let you avail of their services, call customer service, know the location of their offices, etc.

H. H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum

The app of H. H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai connects you to the official website of H. H. within seconds. The app keeps you posted about news from H. H. and any directives and initiatives launched by him.

With the Ministry of Foreign Affairs app, you can contact the UAE embassies and consulates overseas, foreign embassies and consulates in UAE and find information about visas and attestation. UAE citizens can register for Tawajudi service through this app.

The MoH app offers easy communication with Ministry’s call centre. You can even locate a health centre nearest to your current location. Find a list of ministry’s hospitals and pharmacies and seek advice on health matters.

The aeCERT app provides detail information about the UAE’s Computer Emergency Response Team’s (aeCERT) services, activities, security reports, security awareness tips and best practices. The app also provides latest updates on security vulnerabilities and malware assisting in raising security awareness to build a safer cyber culture.

i-ADEC

The i-ADEC app facilitates search of schools, their contact details and routes. It also aids the access to latest ADEC publications, news, and videos. You can also send suggestions to ADEC central operation in different multimedia formats.

Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) 

Find hospitals in Abu Dhabi, get their contact numbers and a direct link to the SEHA website with the new version of this app. SEHA app offers information on ambulatory services and an interactive map service that enables you to find the nearest SEHA facility.

Abu Dhabi CityGuard

You can report incidents and submit complaints related to the Abu Dhabi Emirate directly to the government. CityGuard will automatically create a case for the incident with the Abu Dhabi Government Contact Centre, which will promptly assign the case to the appropriate Government Entity for resolution.

With the DEWA app you can view and pay your bills online, get information about DEWA office location, contact details, working hours and access many other services.

With the iDubai app from Dubai Municipality, you can locate points of interests around you and find nearest pharmacies on duty with the help of global positioning system. You can evaluate the entity’s services and send your remarks or complaints regarding its services along with a picture and location. iDubai also provides information on the weather and high seas.
